An article in The New Scientist teaches us that we might share some mating behaviours with antelopes :

Male antelopes disregard females with whom they already mated. Just like some of us guys do : once a girl has been in our bed, she might often not be worthy of our interest anymore. I’m wondering now if we’re hard-wired to behave this way for our species perpetuation’s sake, or is it only because we’re assholes? More seriously, I think we might feel this way about already possessed females because we’re here to spread our semen to as many females as possible. So just like antelopes : once one is done, on to the next.

(I also have this theory that men seem to not respect sluts and don’t show much enthousiasm sleeping with them because they’re instinctively expecting females to be very choosy in making sure the genes of their offspring will be the best. So : a girl banging around is not choosy, therefore she’s not a “real” female, therefore guys don’t feel attraction for her.)

Females antelopes fight with each other in order to get to mate with the male of their choice. Frankly speaking, I find this news astonishing because if we except women’s jealousy it’s the first time I hear about females fighting for a male and not the other way around. Anyway, what is more lovely than girls going all catsy fighting for your attention?

Archealogist have recenlty found that prehistoric women already liked wearing miniskirts and short tops. We can assume that it was mainly to seduce men, as I can’t imagine such clothes being useful as rain or cold protections.

Therefore, if they wore them to enhance and show certain parts of their body, it also means that men were inevitably attracted by those exact same stratagems, already 7500 years ago. I think I know what I’ll retort to the next girl who implies that I’m superficial for loving such cleverly dressed creatures.

By the way, the study also sugests that these ancestors had many different aspects of their life run just the way we do, such as cooking, funeral, and sleeping.
